8 Other Reasons  |  Nine Lives Choker  |  Retailed at $58.00

This choker is really nice because the metal chain is a little chunky, and not really malleable, which helps it keep its shape and in place on your body. What I’ve noticed with other drop-down chain chokers is that they’ll annoyingly sway all over the place, get stuck in your bra, and cause all sorts of problems, but I really don’t see that happening with this piece. Its simplicity makes it easy to pair with multiple outfits, and would be a perfect accessory for either the day or night.

After receiving this product, I browsed through their website and found a bunch of cute pieces I think you all would like. Tell me what you think!

Homemade by Ayehsa Curry  |  Ceramic Mug  |  Retailed at $16.99

This mug is SO cute! I love the lash detail, and the phrase, “I’d rather be in bed” is basically my life motto. This is definitely going to become one of my favorite go-to mugs. Unfortunately, these mugs are sold out on her site, but hopefully they’ll restock soon!

Ahava  |  Mineral Hand Cream  |  Retailed at $33.00

I truly like this hand cream a lot. Like I said in my unboxing video, it’s a very thin lotion, so it doesn’t make your hands feel “goopey”. When it comes to hand creams, or body lotions in general, I personally hate when the product is too thick. When that happens, I feel like my hands are so dirty and sticky. The smell is not overpowering at all, which is nice, because I feel like a lot of brands will add a scent that is way too much to pack in just a hand cream. I can’t pinpoint what the exact smell is, but it reminds me of a baby wipe. I used this product earlier in the day, and even when I washed my hands, I noticed that my skin retained some of the moisture from the cream.

Here are some of Ahava’s Holiday Gifts/sets that I thought you’d like!

Kate Somerville  |  ExfoliKate  |  Retailed at $75.00

I’m not sure if you could tell in the video, but I was initially a little put off by the shade of green that this product is, but color aside, this product worked really well. Like I said, the grains are really fine, and when I first tried it out on my hand, I didn’t think it was going to do the trick, but when I used it on my face, I definitely felt like it was getting rid of the layer of dead and dry skin cells.

The directions say to leave it on for up to 2 minutes, and I tried doing that, but because it was revealing another layer of skin, the product was starting to leave a burning sensation. I can’t really explain the smell of this item either, but it had hints of cinnamon, as well as pine. To me, it smells like Christmas. I could be totally crazy and it could smell like green tea or something random like that, instead, but with this scent and color, I think it’s an awesome and smart product to add in this season’s box.

I used it last night, and decided not to wear makeup to work, because this product left my skin feeling so smooth! Definitely recommend!

Pointe Studio  |  Aloe Infused Cozy Socks  |  Retailed at $19.00

There isn’t much to say about fuzzy socks that we don’t already agree on. For me, whenever fuzzy socks are worn, it means there are a pair of cute boots and seasonal outerwear to go with it. They’re also infused with aloe, which will help relieve dry or cracked feet.

Unfortunately, their collaboration with FabFitFun is also sold out, but visit their site to see more cool products!

DOUCCE  |  Freematic Eyeshadow Pro Palette in Nude  |  Retailed at $70.00

I’m still not really sure how to pronounce this brand, which makes me feel like a dodo, but I was really into this product. I did swatch it off camera, and the matte shades are really too light for my skin tone. Some of the shimmer shades are too, but I think with the right application, they’ll show up and blend nicely with warmer/deeper colors. The larger shade, Solstice, makes for a gorgeous highlighter.

This Works  |  Deep Sleep Pillow Spray  |  Retailed at $29.00

While I believe that this scent is calming, it is also really strong – it lingers in the air, even if you turn the fan on. I’m not too bothered by it, but my parents have very sensitive allergies, and they thought it was a tad unbearable… Actually their exact words were “you’re killing us with that”… BUT don’t let this dissuade you from buying. The blend of lavender, vetivert and chamomile really do provide an aroma that puts you in the mindset for a great sleep. I’m a little bit of a night owl who hates mornings, so after one night’s use, I can’t really attest to the product’s claim that it’ll help you wake up more refreshed. That is something I’ll have to keep you updated on!

BB Dakota Poncho  |  Retailed at $70.00

I love that this is reversible! One side has bolder shades of the color scheme, while the other is obviously faded. I think that it’s great to have both options because it makes it possible to create more than one look. To me, it’s important to have clothing pieces that are versatile and can be worn multiple times. While I do think that people will definitely comment on how much they love this poncho, the style and design allows buyers to pair this with various tops, bottoms, shoes, jewelry, and even makeup looks. I love how it feels like you’re walking around in a Snuggie… without feeling the embarrassment of walking around in a Snuggie.

grace & stella co.  |  Anti-Wrinkle Energizing Eye Masks  |  Retailed at $16.00

I love stuff like this – sheet masks, lip masks, eye masks, the whole shabang! I used this after product after the ExfoliKator. I love how cooling it is, and because the product is gold, it makes me feel luxurious, even when the price-point is very affordable. I noticed that my under eyes weren’t as puffy as from before, and there was reduced visibility of the fine lines around that area. I’m definitely going to be reordering this product when it runs out!

Overall, I rule this season’s box as 8/10 on the Fab Scale! The beauty and skincare products are things I totally want to add to my daily routine. My only wish is that when sending makeup palettes, that they better match them to their customer’s skin tones. Other than that, I have no complaints!
